I am an experienced litigation attorney and have practiced in a wide range of areas of the law.  Prior to coming to Arizona in July 2020, I was a partner at a small, rural Minnesota law firm where I handled breach of contract, employment, real estate, child protection, criminal defense, and many other case types.  Over my career, I have represented clients in numerous jury trials, court trials, arbitration hearings, and mediations.  I have filed appeals in both Minnesota and Arizona. During my practice in Arizona, I have guided numerous clients through business disputes, employment lawsuits, and commercial litigation.

However, my goal is to put my clients in the best position to reach their goals while providing excellent and cost-effective representation.  Each client has their own background, risk tolerance, and financial capacity for litigation and all of these issues and more are taken into account in forming a litigation plan with my clients.

I attended law school at William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota.  After law school, I worked at a large, downtown Minneapolis  law firm on complex class action employment cases but realized that was not the practice for me.  I enjoy working on a personal basis with each of my clients.

I have enjoyed being able to also volunteer in my communities.  I have volunteered as a Special Olympics coach, tax preparer, Board Member of a YMCA, and helped coach my kids' sports teams.

Outside of practicing law, I enjoy spending time with my wife and five kids and being outside during the "winter" months here in Arizona.  I also like to watch a good movie or tv show as well as play and watch many different sports, including football, basketball, and tennis.  I also have a sweet tooth and love to bake.

Born and raised in the Philippines, I completed my bachelor’s degree in Economics from Arizona State University. During my time as an undergrad, I was heavily involved in ASU’s Undergraduate Student Government and Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity. I attended law school at Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. I graduated earning the J.D. Dean’s Award, in recognition of my outstanding character, contributions to ASU Law, and academic performance.

Before joining Fortify Legal Services, I worked in criminal defense specializing in commercial trucking, an interplay of state criminal and federal strict liability charges. I handled the most commercial traffic cases in Arizona and represented clients in front of over 55 courts across the state in my first two years of practice. Because of this, I have a wealth of experience in delivering favorable results to clients not only as a result of negotiating settlement agreements but also zealously litigating cases on behalf of my clients in preliminary hearings and in trials.

As a lawyer, I am passionate about making the process of seeking justice less cumbersome. Whether it is seeking the right remedy or defending a case, I hope to provide representation that makes the law comprehensible and advantageous by providing personalized service to my clients from all walks of life.
